CHRIST-CENTERED SERVICE

It’s obvious as we look through Scripture that sacrificial service is the call for all believers.  Jesus is our example of sacrificial service born from a spirit of humility.  We believe that each of us has been designed by God with certain spiritual gifts, passions, abilities, personalities, and experiences.  Every member of Fellowship has been designed by God to contribute to the mission of Fellowship; loving God, loving others, and making disciples.

Serving at Fellowship is a fulfilling and meaningful way to actively contribute to your church. By dedicating your time, skills, and talents, you become an integral part of the church's mission to love God, love others, and make disciples. Whether you're volunteering in worship, youth ministry, first impressions, or any other area, serving allows you to make a tangible difference while building connections with fellow believers. Serving in church is not only about lending a helping hand or filling a needed position; it's about embracing the calling given to the church. Through your service, you not only support the church's activities but also join in the greater mission of being the body of Christ serving and obeying his commands as the head.

Serving Policies: Serving roles are exclusively open to Fellowship members. Engaging in service alongside minors necessitates a background check, strict adherence to Fellowship Church's Child Protection Policies, and successful completion of our comprehensive Child Protection Course..

Ministry Fair: Every May, we host our annual Ministry Fair—an exciting chance to explore the different service roles in our church. Ministries set up information tables in the Event Center, providing insights into their areas. Interested volunteers can sign up for the ministries that fit their gifting, committing for one year. Onboarding and training occur over the summer, with the service term commencing in August on Promotion Sunday.

Volunteer Appreciation: Following the Ministry Fair, we gather for one of our favorite events known as "The Volees," our Volunteer Appreciation Banquet. We share a meal, coming together to commemorate the remarkable work God has accomplished in our ministries over the year. This event serves as a moment for our staff to express deep gratitude and honor the dedicated volunteers who generously contribute their time, skills, and resources.
