Fellowship Junior is our children's program for babies, birth through 5th grade. The program is divided into six age groups; Paddleboats (babies), Tugboats (1 year old), Walkarounds (toddlers), Runabouts (preschool), Skipjacks (kindergarten through 2nd grade), and Sailboats (3rd through 5th grades). Fellowship Junior is located in the Education Building.
Fellowship Junior is designed to meet the spiritual and developmental needs of children while providing a safe and playful environment. Your child will learn truths from the Bible presented in a relevant way that addresses “kid issues” and how they are living today. Our prayer is that they will not only want to come back each week, but that they will want to bring their friends!
Who will be caring for my children?
Each of our volunteers has completed a Child Safety Class which includes age-level training, thorough review of our safety and security policies and a background check. This detailed process ensures that we will provide your child with the best possible care in a safe and secure child-friendly environment.
What if my child has allergies?
Fellowship Junior is a peanut-free environment. Please do not send any snacks with your child.
What if my child is sick?
We operate a well-child environment. For the protection of all the children in our ministry, we cannot accept a child with a runny nose, fresh cold (four days or less), fever, rash, persistent cough, diarrhea or any other signs of illness. We request that you not place your child in the program while they are at risk of exposing other children. Thank you in advance for helping us to keep Fellowship Junior a healthy place!
How do I check in my baby?
At the time of check-in, a trained volunteer will greet you. You will be asked to provide us with a phone number for a cell phone that you have in your possession. In the event that we need to contact you during the service, we will send you a text message. (Remember to leave your cell phone on vibrate/silence during the service.) If your child cries, our caring volunteer leaders will immediately soothe your child. If your child cries for an extended period of ten minutes, we will text you. You and your child will receive a check-in tag specifically created for your child. To ensure their security, your child will not be released without presentation of your corresponding tag.
Are there any forms to fill out?
We will ask for a small amount of information at check in but we encourage first time guests to fill out the form below and skip that step when you arrive. Please fill out a separate form for each child.
